1. Introduction

These terms (the “Terms”) explain how you may use the Booking Momentum platform to create, promote, and manage events or courses. By signing up or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

These Terms also reference the following additional policies:

3. Our Agreement With You

When you register or use Booking Momentum, you’re accepting these Terms. We may update them occasionally, and we’ll publish the most recent version on this page. Continued use means you accept any changes.

4. What We Offer

Booking Momentum helps you:

  • Create and promote events or courses
  • Offer free or paid tickets
  • Collect attendee information
  • Accept payments through Stripe
  • Communicate with attendees

You are responsible for your events, ticket sales, and attendees. All agreements with attendees are between you and them — not with us.

You agree to:

  • Respond to attendee queries within 5 working days
  • Manage your own customer service
  • Take responsibility for refunds, changes, and cancellations
  • Notify attendees promptly of any major changes

5. Using Your Account

  • You must be 18+ to register
  • You can close your account at any time by emailing us
  • Download any important data before closing; we’ll delete your account shortly after
  • We may keep inactive accounts for up to 24 months
  • We may suspend accounts for security, misuse, or breach of terms

6. Keeping Your Account Secure

You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials safe. Don’t share them. Let us know immediately if you think your account has been compromised.

We take security seriously, but no platform is immune to risk. You use Booking Momentum at your own risk and are encouraged to protect your own systems too.

7. Payments & Fees

All payments are processed via Stripe. You'll need your own Stripe account and must accept their terms.

Our pricing:

  • 1% + 35p per paid ticket
  • Free for events with up to 500 attendees and no charges

You’re also responsible for Stripe’s transaction fees. If Stripe suspends your account, you may not be able to take payments.

8. Relationship With Your Attendees

You are directly responsible for your attendees. You agree to:

  • Clearly communicate your refund and cancellation policy
  • Keep event information accurate
  • Handle attendee queries and chargebacks
  • Not refer attendee support issues to Booking Momentum

9. Service Access

We aim for high availability but don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. We may need to take the platform offline for maintenance, updates, or compliance reasons.

10. Ending or Suspending Your Account

We may suspend or terminate your account if:

  • You breach these Terms
  • You violate applicable laws
  • We detect fraudulent activity
  • You fail to pay fees owed

We’ll try to notify you first but reserve the right to act immediately if necessary.

11. Legal Bits

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Legal matters will be handled in the courts of that jurisdiction.
